2025-26 Carleton University Graduate Merit Scholarship (Canada Based)

Scholarship Summary: 

Carleton awards merit scholarships based on the academic grades of a previous degree, to top-quality graduate students (domestic and international). It is important to note that funding for international students is limited and only a few outstanding international applicants would be selected. Recommendations for these scholarships are made by your department during the application per year.

2025 Laurentian University Graduate Teaching Assistantship (Canada Based)

Scholarship Summary: 

Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTAs) are available to qualified full-time International or Domestic students who meet the minimum average for automatically receiving a GTA, which is set at 75%. The awards are designated partially as employment and partially as a Fellowship. 

2025-26 Toronto Metropolitan University Undergraduate Guaranteed Entrance Award (Canada Based)

Scholarship Summary: 

Students attending a Canadian secondary school and International students with final averages of 86% and higher, who meet the terms and conditions for scholarship, are guaranteed a renewable entrance scholarship.

'25 Trent University Canadian National Entrance Scholarship (Canada Based)

Scholarship Summary: 

Trent’s National Entrance Scholarships are available for Canadian students entering an undergraduate program directly from a Canadian secondary school, and for Canadian students transferring from another post-secondary institution. 

Applications are not required for the National Entrance Scholarships and they are renewable for up to 4 years of full-time study.

ii. Other Canadian and US students: 1 June, 2025

iii. International students: 1 April, 2025

Scholarship Summary: 

All incoming undergraduates (domestic and international) who have been admitted to Carleton with an admissions average of 80 percent or better will automatically be considered for a renewable entrance scholarship at the time of admission. Entrance scholarships are offered for fall entry only.

'25 University of Guelph International Undergraduate Entrance Awards (Canada Based)

International students entering post-secondary studies for the first time and registering in the first semester of a degree program in the fall semester, are automatically considered for an entrance scholarship. All Canadian citizens/PR entering the 1st semester of post-secondary studies for the first time with a minimum 90.0% admission average applying to the University of Guelph are automatically considered for a University of Guelph Entrance Scholarship. The scholarship offer will be made with the offer of admission to students who qualify.

The Lang Graduate Executive Program Scholarships are one of the most prestigious graduate entrance awards offered in the Lang School of Business. Two scholarships will be awarded to students (Canadian and international) entering Lang Executive MBA program and two will be awarded to students entering the Lang MA (Leadership) program.

'25 University of Guelph Board of Graduate Studies Research Scholarship (Canada Based)

Scholarship Summary: 

The Board of Graduate Studies Research Scholarships are available to students (Canadian and international) in the College of Arts, the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, and the College of Social & Applied Human Sciences, as well as selected departments in Ontario Agricultural College each year. 

Students do not apply for these awards because departments nominate students to the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies each semester. All eligible students will be considered for nomination by their departments with preference given to entering and first-year students.
