First-year domestic applicants who apply with or without submitting test scores are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships at ODU. Admitted students (domestic and international) who meet the filing date will automatically be considered for merit scholarships based on cumulative GPA and standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), information that is already part of a complete application for admission. Merit scholarship awards will be included with the offer of admission to the University.

Scholarship Summary: 

The Honors Program features stimulating interdisciplinary seminar courses for its incoming cohort (domestic and international) and requires at least two honors inquiries chosen from study abroad, independent research, civic engagement or internships. Honors students are also afforded more academic freedom, with seminar coursework satisfying the liberal learning core requirements.
